Two plugins, one principle

Outboard-EQ was built to fold the long mastering chain of parametric EQ, dynamic EQ, de-essing, resonance suppression, saturation and metering into one phase-coherent window. Outboard-Slab follows the same idea for fast mix decisions: density, color and parallel mix without a plug-in stack and without level guesswork. Different tools, same direction — fewer detours, more control over the signal.

Under the hood

The depth is in the DSP, and in both plugins we'd rather show it than hide it:

• Outboard-EQ uses a shared STFT engine (4096-point FFT, 75% overlap) for Soothe-style per-bin resonance suppression — running only on bands that need it.
• Linear-phase EQ built from frequency-sampling FIR filters with Kaiser windows, in three resolution tiers, plus an atomic IR double-buffer for phase changes during playback.
• Outboard-Slab puts saturation, compression, color, loudness compensation and a clean output ceiling behind the FAT, COLOR and MIX macros.
• EQ metering with 4× polyphase-oversampled true peak to ITU-R BS.1770 (±0.05 dB), with LUFS targets for nine streaming platforms.
• Native CLAP support alongside VST3 — with Outboard-EQ also supporting multichannel up to Dolby Atmos 9.1.6 and a per-band channel mask.

How we work

Our plugins are one-time purchases with perpetual licenses — no subscription, no rental. The website sets no tracking or marketing cookies, and the plugins collect no usage analytics; the only data they send is what's needed to activate your license. Support comes straight from the person who wrote the DSP, and every release is documented in the changelog.
