Outboard releases Outboard-EQ — an 8-band equalizer for mixing and mastering

Outboard Audio has released Outboard-EQ, an 8-band parametric equalizer for Windows and macOS in VST3, AU (macOS) and CLAP formats.

Each of the eight bands offers 18 filter types, per-band slopes from 6 to 96 dB/oct, and an independent dynamic EQ with four detector modes (Peak, RMS, Adaptive, Spectral) and an optional free sidechain. Any band can be switched to a spectral mode that runs through a shared STFT engine (4096-point FFT, 75% overlap) for per-bin resonance suppression.

System requirements: Windows 10 (build 17134) or Windows 11, x64, or macOS 10.15 or newer (Intel and Apple Silicon); 4 GB RAM minimum.
